This Fenty Lip Stain Is the Only Non-K-Beauty Tint I Approve Of
Introduction
Non-K-Beauty I’ve always been a little wary of the K-Beauty trend. It’s not that I don’t believe in Korean beauty products, or that I think they’re not worth it. It’s just that whenever I read about K-Beauty trends in magazines, I can’t help but feel like everything is really trendy for being trendy’s sake. But then again, as an editor of beauty content for an online publication (with no real authority over anything), maybe it shouldn’t matter what my personal feelings are about the subject at hand? So today, Fenty Beauty sent me their new lip stain and let me tell you—I’m sold! This stuff is amazing.
Fenty lip stain What is it?
Fenty’s Lip and Cheek Stain is a non-sticky, waterproof lip and cheek tint that has been said to give you the “perfect flush of color.” It’s available in 24 shades, named after Rihanna’s favorite things (like “Comfy” and “Kiss My Ass”), with a wide range of undertones. Best Smelling Shampoo
What does it do?
It gives you natural-looking color that lasts for hours on end. The formula comes out clear but develops into a stain upon contact with your skin; the longer you wear it, the more intense the effect will become. Because there are so many different shades to choose from, this product can accommodate any look: whether you want
something subtle or dramatic, you’ll be able to find what works best!
How do I use it? Apply directly onto your lips or cheeks using fingers or a brush—whatever feels most comfortable! You can also mix Fenty beauty products together if desired (for example: mixing Gloss Bomb with Love Bite). If using as an eyeliner pen instead of as an actual lip tint (which is what we recommend), apply gently until desired darkness/intensity achieved before blending outwards toward nose bridge area by gently tapping fingertips against skin surface until lightest parts blend evenly amongst surrounding darker pigmentations without leaving any sort of line behind them–this may take some practice but once mastered will result in flawless results every time!
When should I use this product daily vs weekly vs monthly? We recommend using daily if possible since having fresh looking skin tends to make us feel better about ourselves overall–especially when coupled with healthy eating habits like balanced diet choices made up mostly from plant based sources such as beans & legumes over meats containing high levels carbohydrates which tend not last long because they contain lots fat calories per serving size
K-Beauty
K-Beauty is a term that refers to the Korean beauty trend that has gained popularity in the west. This trend was initially propelled by K-pop stars and influencers who helped spread its message of natural ingredients and innovative products.
The best part about this new wave of skincare? Non-K-Beauty There are no rules! If you want to wear your makeup for three weeks straight without washing it off, go for it! Just don’t sleep with your mascara on (you risk damaging your lashes).
If you haven’t tried K-beauty yet, here are some products I recommend:
Beauty
The beauty industry is a strange one. It’s ludicrously lucrative, and yet it’s also overwhelmingly saturated. I am so over the idea that a person’s value can be measured by their appearance, and I believe wholeheartedly in the notion that beauty is more than skin deep. That said, I also recognize that there are certain aspects of looking good—and feeling good about how you look—that deserve to be celebrated and cultivated.Non-K-Beauty
Picking up on this idea, Rihanna has made an impressive effort to change the conversation around beauty standards since launching Fenty Beauty last year with a line consisting entirely of makeup marketed towards women who don’t fit into traditional ideas of what makes someone beautiful: darker complexions, fuller lips and arched brows. She’s done so by putting out products that both highlight these features while also making them accessible for all skin tones (to varying degrees depending on where you live).
Beauty trends
Lip stains are, in my opinion, the perfect amount of color. They can add a bit of oomph to your look without making it look like you’re trying too hard (or like you woke up in the morning and immediately forgot how to do makeup). And they’re easy to use: apply one swipe directly on top of your lip line and then blend out with a brush or finger—no mirror required!
You can even choose from a range of colors that’ll work for every season. Non-K-Beauty If it’s summertime, I’d go for something like Lady Pink or Queen Pink—both super-flattering pinks that feel fresh and fun (and also happen to be two of my favorite shades). For colder months, try Dolce K or Fenty Glow; both are pretty neutral tones that will keep you looking put together but not boring during wintertime blues.
Lipstick
Lipstick is a cosmetic product containing pigments, Non-K-Beauty oils, waxes, and emollients that apply color, texture, and protection to the lips. It is available in many colors and shades. Lipstick can be applied to the lips with a wand or brush or fingertip.
Fenty X Puma
Fenty Beauty is a cosmetics brand owned by Rihanna. The brand was launched in September 2017, and has since expanded to include makeup, skincare, and hair care products. Fenty Beauty is sold at Sephora and on the company’s website as well as in select countries worldwide.
The Fenty X Puma collaboration features four lip tints: Stunna (a warm coral), Pillow Talk (a nude pink), Candy Man (a cool rose), and Long Live the Queen (a deep purple).
This is a good product for using on your lips
If you’re looking for a tint that can be used on your lips, cheeks, and eyes—and you don’t want to spend $40 on a K-Beauty product—this is the one. The stain comes in four shades: blush (which is the one I purchased), nude, rose gold, and pink. If you’re not sure which shade will work best for your skin tone or complexion, I recommend getting the blush color since it’s the lightest of the bunch and will allow you to test out how well it works before committing to one of the other 3 colors.
The tube itself is super easy to use; it has an easy-to-use applicator that makes applying this formula easy as pie! You can apply straight from the tube or with a brush if desired; either way works great but I prefer using my finger tips so that there isn’t any waste involved with using an applicator tip (since they tend not only get dirty quickly but also waste product).
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a new lip stain that isn’t K-Beauty,Non-K-Beauty I recommend trying Fenty Beauty. The color lasts all day long and the formula isn’t sticky. It also has great pigmentation so your lips will look like they are naturally tinted with lipstick!
