Dubai City Tour – Full Day Experience

I said “Yes” quickly to the Dubai project that I was selected to participate in. Assignments in different cities are a great way to add adventure to corporate travelers like myself. Since I first knew that I was going to Dubai I have always wanted to see this magnificent, tallest skyscraper in the entire world.

Burj Khalifa felt like a perfect moment. As soon as we arrived at Burj Khalifa, I was already thrilled.

Access to the observation desk is not included in the City Tour. We booked our tickets online so that we could combine our visit to the Observation desk and City Tour.

We made many stops as we climbed the highest building in the world via lift. It was amazing, I swear.

The entire world is visible when you gaze out from these high floors. It is a feeling that cannot be described verbally. From the glass doors, it seemed like all of life was in my hands.

From our high altitude, the beauty of this country is evident. We could see the aristocracy in the city right in front of us. This view is unmatched anywhere else.

Palm Jumeirah Island and The Atlantis Hotel

Another celestial experience was our drive through Palm Jumeirah Island. We were able to see the pictures of the island in the papers that we received at the conference yesterday.

We had hoped to see the island, which has the shape of a palm tree on the sea, in person. The guide shared an interesting fact with us about the island visuals.

Dubai’s government and its skilled engineers are making it possible to build such a huge city on the ocean. We stopped at Hotel Atlantis, a world-class hotel that is famous for its luxurious amenities.

Palm Jumeirah Island makes a stunning place to visit. All of us were captivated by the bridges and roads that were built high above the water. We have never seen such amazing architecture and engineering anywhere else in the world.

Burj Al Arab and Jumeira Beach

Next, our guide drove us to Jumeira Beach. It is listed in many portals as one of the top attractions in Dubai. For myself, I could easily spend an entire day at this beach just looking at the blue water.

It brought me peace and calm. We took pictures and walked beside the beach.

My European colleague said that he’d never seen such a beautiful beach in Europe. The famous Burj Al Arab hotel was our photo stop. This hotel is well-known for its skydive landings.

We were eager to see the helicopter landing at the hotel. We took some amazing photos of this magnificent hotel before moving on to our next photo stop at Jumeirah Mosque.

The Jumeirah Mosque Photo Stop

This stunning mosque was built in 1979. It tells the story of the rich architectural heritage that Islam has left in the city. Beautifully constructed, the Jumeirah Mosque draws a lot of people every day.

Our tour guide had previously told us that to get inside the Mosque, we must be present at 9:45 AM. We were on a short day trip and wanted to see as much as possible. Therefore, we decided not to go inside the mosque but to only view it from the outside.

As we heard Azan’s voice, we were able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place. It gave us a brain relaxation and peace.

Take an Abra Ride

Finally, we got to ride the Abra! All of us were eager to experience the thrill of riding on local boats. I could see many Abra as we approached the jetty. We were able to book one from our guide and then we could enjoy it.

We cruised along the streets of the city and marveled at the beautiful architecture. Me and my friends were captivated by everything. In any part of Dubai, you won’t find dirt or dust.

It was amazing to see the view of the city from the two sides of this water ride. From this water view, we took pictures of Dubai.

Spice Souks and Gold

It was a life-changing experience to visit the Dubai gold souk. Such treasure is not available anywhere else in the world. It is hard to find so many precious stones, gold, platinum, and beautiful jewelry in one location. It was amazing to see the extensive jewelry collection in the souk.

The skyscrapers on Sheikh Zayed Road were breathtaking during the first 4 hour of our Dubai Sightseeing Tour. Clear paths, large buildings, shopping malls and clear streets are all things I will always remember.

Ski Dubai (Photo Stop).

Ski Dubai was an unforgettable experience for us all. It is a great example of Dubai’s pomp and show. This was an experience I will never forget.

The Mall of the Emirates indoor ski resort was a hit with the children in us. For us all, the Penguin encounter was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed tower climbing, ice slide, black diamond run, and other activities at the center.

We wish we could have spent more time at this wonderful activity center. It is an amazing experience to ski. After many failed attempts, I was able to ski so well that I enjoyed the artificial snow immensely.

Dubai Marina (Photo Stop).

Next we visited Dubai Marina, the artificial canal city of Dubai. To give this town its look, the Persian Gulf water has been used.

It is still being built and will soon be home to 120000 people. Many villas and apartments are still under construction.

Dubai Marina Bay Address and two other stunning attractions are just a few of the many things you will see in this city.

Take a walk around Souk Madinat Jumeirah, (Little Venice).

This place is a wonderful reminder of the beauty and wonder that life can be. It floats on the water. Shopping lovers will find all kinds of Arabian goods here.

You also get exquisite clothing, a beautiful carpet, unique utensils, and Arabian furniture. It is hard to believe that this Island is located at the top of the Persian Gulf.

Here you can find amazing antiques and curio items that are available in a variety of shops. They are beautiful and bear the marks of Arabian culture, as the crockery says roll over here

Then, we drove on the road towards the Rulers Palace. The car ride was very luxurious and we enjoyed it greatly. The beautiful streets of Dubai were so captivating that it was almost impossible to resist.

As we drove along the wonderful road, our eyes were drawn to the stunning buildings on either side of the road. To take pictures, we stopped at the Dubai Rulers Palace.

It was beautiful and a great example of precious Arabian art. The Dubai Rulers Palace is Dubai’s residence. We were all energized to see it.

This Palace is simply breathtaking. This Palace, like any other heritage building in Dubai is well maintained. This beautiful Palace is maintained by the Government of Dubai and its Organization.

Visit Dubai Mall:

Then, we were directed towards the iconic Dubai Mall. When we entered the largest shopping mall in the globe, we were awestruck.

This shopping center houses the largest brand stores worldwide.

Dubai Mall is most luxurious shopping center in the world. It was an amazing experience to browse different brands in the various stores within the mall.

Entry to Dubai Museum

This is the place I’ve always wanted to go, since I heard that Prophet Mohammad had his hair preserved at this museum. This was an incredible attraction to me.

We were greeted by the old city maps as we entered the hall. We were shown videos that told the story of how the city evolved from the discovery oil in 1960 to today.

The museum also features souks selling pearls, spices and precious metals. It was a joy to see the rich cultural heritage displayed in many sections of the museum.

I am always interested in learning about the history of the place that I visit, rather than simply taking selfies. That desire was fulfilled by the Dubai Museum.

As I learned how the country united itself and was able to make its place in the top ten wealthiest countries in the world, I felt goosebumps.

We decided to go to the museum because we were running out of time. If you’ve spent more time at other attractions, you can shorten this visit to balance your time.

Our day trip to Dubai City Tour was over. In the 8-hour Dubai City Tour, we were able to cover every spot that we wanted. Since I started planning my trip to Dubai, I have wondered how I would manage to see the whole city in a single day.
